October 28th-November 3rd

Hello and welcome to Halloween week, flock! ✨πŸ₯³

One day late, but here comes our weekly update to you, we know you’ve been impatiently waiting πŸ‘
Last week had it’s ups and downs, with New Zealand sadly not qualifying for the rugby world cup final. The kiwi flock drowned their sorrows in our Society Lager and new and improved brunch plates! The other day we got our first delivery of New Zealand wines, so now you can enjoy a delicious Oyster Bay (along with others) with your Tiki Tourte whilst watching the All Blacks grab that bronze on Friday! Speaking of downs, our amplifier blew the other night, along with a bunch of the lights a couple of days later. Take a breath and call a friend we said, it’s not all glam and parties owning a bar…!

Our darling Kat hosted her very first quiz here chez nous on Tuesday, a big success that will be on every week from now on. Tonight it’s Halloween themed πŸ‘» Thursday is of course the big night, with our massive Halloween feast, we can’t wait!! There will be spooky specials and the bar will be fully decorated, we’re so excited to see your costumes!!

On Friday we’ll be cheering for NZ for the bronze, and in the evening we’ll cheer for Jaymi and Pierson who are celebrating their engagement!
Saturday morning brings in the South Africans of Paris who have chosen to watch the final here with us, followed by some Swedish football on request and a birthday party. It’s full on here chez le Sheep! Sunday means NFL on three big screens, and of course our regular menu of toasties, pies and other fun treats.

Yesterday we had our first ever movie night, can you guess what we watched? We’ll give you a clue: πŸ‘πŸ§Ÿβ€β™‚οΈ

Now it’s time for us to get prepped for Halloween quiz night, Meatloaf is baah-ing about bats through the speakers and our paperwork is looking overwhelmingly scary. Wish us luck and come in to keep us company! Baah! πŸ‘βœ¨

October 21st-27th

Hello little lambs!

It’s been an exciting Monday at The Sheep with some of our Halloween decorations arriving and our new internet box being installed, no more super-long and confusing password to get online πŸ€—

Today we’re recovering from the biggest weekend in The Sheep’s fairly brief history, we’re tired but SO happy!! With the rugby quarter finals on Saturday and Sunday morning we were blown away by all the sports fans that came to support their teams! We’ve gotta give a special thanks to the New Zealanders of Paris who made Saturday in to the most fun we’ve had here. Who knew there were so many kiwis around?? You guys really made our day!

This upcoming week we’re hosting our very first Quiz night!! The lovely Kat will be our quiz master, it’ll kick off tomorrow (as in Tuesday the 22nd!) at 8PM. Questions will be read in English & French and there will be boozy prizes up for grabs, so bring your cleverest friends and come play with us!
During the week we’ll be asking all little lambs to come forward and suggest movies for our upcoming Spooky movie night, so stay tuned on our Facebook page for that!
On Friday we’ll be waving off a couple of friends who are leaving the barn of Paris, then this weekend is of course the rugby semi finals – judging from this past weekend we’ve got a feeling it’s gonna be a huge one!

As always, thank you lovely ones for all your support, it’s stag-gering to see πŸ¦ŒπŸ‘βœ¨πŸ˜‰

October 14th-20th

Bonjour le flock!

A new week is kicking off at the Sheep and we hope to catch up with all of you! This past week has been full of fun stuff – we now have Yippi IPA (motherf*cker!) for our hoppy friends, and tayto chips to snack on. Salt & vinegar and Smoky bacon 🀀
We’re warming up for Halloween with pumpkins and candles lit every night, the event is up and waiting for your RSVPs now!
After a vote on Instagram we’ve welcomed Laura Palmer to the flock, it was a close race between Laura and Planty McPlantface but ultimately she took the crown.
Yesterday we had Mr Thomas Sacksick in, reading from Albert Cohens “le livre de ma mere”, that’ll be happening again this coming Sunday for all cultured lambs out there.
Saturday night turned in to Heavy Metal mania when our friends of the band Tales of Blood came in after their gig, with their whole possy. Judas Priest, whiskey and beer – a fun night!
We rounded off the week with NFL and woke up pretty tired today..!

But ready for week 4 of wool-y fun times! We’ll be baking, posting our menu of shots, preparing decorations and playlists for Halloween and working on the brunch menu for this weekends rugby games. We’ve added a couple of things to the website as well, on the top of the page you should now be able to see our menus, and a monthly schedule of fun stuff happening chez nous!

Join us, why don’t you? πŸ‘βœ¨

October 7th-13th

Calling the flock!

We are so excited to be up and running, finally! This past week has been full of fun stuff with the rugby world cup, the nuit blanche, a brunch menu and Swedish cinnamon bun day. We also had the New Zealanders of Paris in for an evening, something we hope to be making a regular event of! We’ve gotten our first delivery of Tiki Tourtes, so the pie warmer is working at full steam. Duncan has been working on the cocktail menu, and Elin made a total of 48 cinnamon buns in the space of 24 hours. Over the weekend we had our new banquettes put in, so now you can sit comfortably with your bevvie of choice for as long as your heart desires!
Oh and as you can see, our website is live!!

It’s been an intense kick off here at the sheep!

Our plan is to update you guys here once a week, with what’s coming up. So check in every Monday for the latest n-ewe-s!

This upcoming week we’ll be starting to prep for the BIGGEST and BADDEST Halloween bash this baah-ing city has ever seen! It’s gonna be amazing guys! Stay tuned for event details and extra spooky specials – and book your night of October 31st.
We will of course keep showing the rugby world cup, find the full schedule of the games here! There will be a brunch menu for the games starting before midday, for the later ones there are always pies and delicious toasties available.
On Sunday we have a reading by M. Thomas Sacksick at 4PM. Read more about it in the facebook event here!
Later on we’ll have NFL on three big screens – with an assortment of snacks of course. Stay tuned on our social media channels for what games will be showing (requests are welcome as well!).
